Perennial Sweet Pea flower seed, also known as Everlasting Pea, Wild Pea, or Pea-Vine, is a 4-6 foot vining plant that will climb any adjacent vegetation or structure with its twining tendrils. In open areas it will spread along the ground. The pink blooms are about 1 inch across and the plant will flower for about 2 months during the summer. The flowers are replaced by 2 inch green seed pods that will turn brown when ripe. The seeds are not edible. Unlike the annual varieties, perennial sweet pea does not have a fragrance. Like clover, perennial sweet peas fixates nitrogen in the ground which will help the plant grow.
